Essential Information for Visitors

Given the high volume of visitors, the most relaxed times to explore the market are early afternoon hours on weekdays, or around lunchtime during weekends when crowds are lighter.

Getting Here by Public Transport

We strongly encourage all guests to use public transportation when visiting. The market location is just a short walk from several convenient stations:

• Sophie-Charlotte-Platz U-Bahn station
• Richard-Wagner-Platz U-Bahn station
• Westend S-Bahn station

Multiple bus routes and taxi stands are located directly at the main entrance on Spandauer Damm, making access straightforward and convenient.

Parking and Alternative Routes

Tour buses can find designated parking along Spandauer Damm, though these spaces fill quickly during peak hours.

If arriving by private vehicle or coach is unavoidable, we recommend utilizing the less congested Sophie-Charlotte-Straße for parking (accessible from Spandauer Damm heading north, parallel to the highway) toward Güterbahnhof Charlottenburg. From there, visitors can reach the market on foot through the beautiful Charlottenburg Palace Gardens via the Pulsstraße entrance.

Accessibility Features

Guests with mobility challenges will find accessible restroom facilities in the Hygiene Village at the western park entrance, adjacent to the Royal Children's Christmas Market area. We also provide portable ramps for wheelchair users to access the market pavilions.

Bicycle Parking

Bicycle stands are available on the eastern side of the market, directly behind the perimeter fence near the large lawn areas. Please note that bicycles locked within the market grounds will be removed at the owner's expense for safety reasons.

Pet Policy

We kindly request that visitors refrain from bringing dogs to the market out of consideration for other guests. Dogs are strictly prohibited from the Royal Children's Christmas Market due to the presence of various animals in that section.
